About the workshop

Proving or disproving of any matter in the court of law is always supported by various facts based on oral or documentary evidences. With the increasing usage of scientific technologies in crime investigations, expert testimony by scientific fraternity is of paramount importance. Many a times, legal practitioners lack the knowledge of scientific techniques, which becomes a limiting factor for them for an efficient argument in the court of law. Forensic Science is a multi-disciplinary science, which deals with application of science to the law. Thus, knowledge of forensic science to legal professionals becomes one of the essential requirements.

The workshop is aimed to provide awareness among legal professionals regarding techniques of forensic science for their efficient court trials. During the workshop, participants will get opportunity to interact with experts of the field. Moreover, they will get exposed to forensic processes in the laboratory.
