The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides the opportunity to the student of the Graduate programme. The sole aim of NSS is to provide hands-on experience to young students in delivering community service since the inception of the NSS in the year 1969 and this scheme is implemented by the institute in 2010.
